Here is an archive of the UStream of tonight’s Hello Giggles show at UCB Theatre East! My contribution starts around 49:00 minutes in. Don’t fast forward though. You should watch the whole thing because everyone was great!

Yeah, that’s right. I just told you how to live your life.

I’m after Jake, whom I’m sorry I didn’t get more time to chat with. He’s a great and awesome dude. Fun times.

This was so much fun and I was super excited to be a part of it, even if nobody really bought any t-shirts so we packed up shop once everyone was inside and watched the show from backstage and did nothing really relevant to help the show (it really ran itself). Still, it was such a good night and here are some reasons you should watch it:

• A) Deanna Raphael is an amazing and sweet person and her story is really beautiful and touching
• B) Eliza Hurwitz is also really sweet and I feel like a lot of you guys/us as a whole would relate to her story
• C) Ruby Karp is only 11 and this girl owns the stage. She was also super fun to go grab a slice of pizza with.
• D) Jake Fogelnest gets real and opens up about his non-conventional (but dude, totally awesome) childhood
• E) Meghan’s first official step into storytelling!! She definitely killed it
• F) DC Pierson shared the first of his 3 stories that comprise his DC Pierson Is Bad At Girls show. Probably my favorite of the 3 stories too.
• G) My friend and co-intern Corinne manned the Ustream the whole night and managed to do it technical-difficulty-free! She was technically also the only one of us to do any real work for the night, aside from selling a couple of t-shirts.

Basically, just watch it.

I caught the 11 year old Ruby Karp on the live stream… and she had me laughing. lots. Like… I was entertained and just jealous at the same time of her ability to own the stage at that age. And not in a precocious way.
