This is a pretty good depiction of who I am.

  • 25% Conan O’Brien - Self-deprecating, feeds off a crowd, can fly off the handle, 
  • 25% J.D. from Scrubs - Sees life as a though he’s a character in a story, constant inner-monologue, fantasizes regularly, dork. 
  • 20% Abed from Community - Obsessive, nerd, constantly references pop-culture, alienating at times.
  • 10% Snoopy - Enjoy time alone, introspective, 
  • 10% Jimmy Fallon - default mood is happy, enthusiastic.
  • 10% Walter the muppet - dreamer, intense admiration, passionate.

I’ve also come to the conclusion that I’m basically Ted from HIMYM.

  • My name is Talon. I’m 20. I’m a theater major.
  • I’m an aspiring comedy writer/performer
  • Currently, I am an improviser, a filmmaker, and actor.
  • I’ve played many instruments, thought not well, but I can play a lot of things by ear now days. I dabble in guitar. and I think I can sing well enough. I can hit notes. I don’t have the prettiest voice, but can harmonize like a boss. I’d be great in an a cappella group. 
  • I want to do a lot. Mostly, I want to write and perform on Saturday Night Live.
  • If I didn’t make it on SNL, I’d try the Donald Glover career path. Write for TV, act on TV. 
  • I’m a pretty positive person, and I’m not a fan of conflict. I use jokes as a defense mechanism.
  • Going to school in Portland, OR is slowly turning me into a shallow hipster.
  • I like their style, deal with it.
  • I think I’d be good at hosting a late Night talk show. I feel funnier when I have someone else to bounce off of, which is why Stand-Up doesn’t really feel like my thing, but I’m gonna try it soon. 
  • I really don’t like talking about myself this much. I’m a modest guy, but I’m realizing that I can’t be modest all the time if I want to get ahead. Sometimes I gotta sell myself. Not being cocky, just trying to figure myself out here…
  • I think I have natural comic timing, at least it’s better than my dramatic ability.
